X has been volunteering XXXX and its Daycentre service for fifteen years. She has seen 3 venues where we hold our Daycentre and is currently with us at our centre in XXXXXXXX.
She turns up regularly each week to assist our cook in the kitchen, helping to prepare meals, sandwiches etc. for our clients and residents of XXXXXXXX. She also assists with general kitchen duties too.
She is a well-known face to staff, other volunteers and clients and is always cheerful and willing to help us out in the kitchen if the need arises.

Garry Edwards has been volunteering with local community radio stations for over 10 years.
On 102.5 The Bridge and now on Black Country Radio, Garry presents the Northern Soul Show – a genre of music he is passionate about. Garry has been totally committed to doing this weekly show for nearly a decade – with an enthusiasm and inspiration that has inspired many volunteers.

Dudley Volunteer Awards is all about celebrating amazing volunteers from across the borough and we think the best way to do that is to share lots of lovely photos, plus we would like people coming along to the event to share them too. With this in mind we now have a shiny new Instagram page for you to enjoy!
The group pf volunteers were formed to try to improve the ambience of XXXX, to involve more of the community, Churches, schools and also to let those using this very busy road purely as road access to see something of their community.
They raised funds to provide planters full of flowers along the road and also make the grounds of the Community Centre a welcoming place to rest and admire. In addition this team of volunteers looked after the High Street all year round, litter picking, removing graffiti and weeding.
Through hard graft, dedication and commitment, it was agreed to enter “Britain in Bloom”, in the Heart of England area and in 2016 they were awarded a Silver Award, for a first time entrant and achieved a second Silver Award in 2017!
Most of your favourite arts and heritage events, and venues rely on volunteers to do roles such as helping in museums, providing support backstage at performances, as well as facilitating community arts, drama and music. A host of inspirational volunteers take up these roles and enjoy the opportunity to get their creative juices flowing!

Team Hazelwood manage staging and props for amateur dramatic societies performing musicals.
Team Hazelwood are a group of approximately 25 people led by Pete Hazelwood and Neal Clarke who work tirelessly and voluntary to ensure that amateur musical theatre productions can take to the stage knowing they are in safe hands and that all props and backstage scene changes etc. can run smoothly.
Team Hazelwood do not have any premises where scenery can be built and painted it is all done at their homes, tombstones and gargoyles decorated Nick Laws kitchen and hall and the Grease car took over his garage. High School Musical and Summer Holiday took over the living room, garden and patio.
